"Power Save was right on the money. The kilowatt hours consumed was just over half that of the 400W sodium HID lamps including ballast losses and overall lighting was better.
I'm no lighting expert but their bright daylight colour has made a world of difference with improved clarity and virtual elimination of annoying glare off stainless steel tanks, vats, process vessels and other equipment working around the plant.

"Pacific Hygiene Ltd recently constructed a purpose designed distribution centre for health and hygiene products. Having never owned our own DC previously there were a lot of questions over what systems and technology were required that would actually create honest measurable efficiencies. However after seeing the savings produced from electronic fluorescents the lighting options were easily answered.
We decided early that having good industrial quality lighting that was economical, innovative and flexible to use was of high importance and so decided to use highbay lights from Power Save Light Company. Even though they are placed at an 11m height with spacing of over 6m they deliver excellent working light in dark or overcast conditions.
As well as the saving in electricity costs one of the key features of these lights for us was the ability to turn them on an off without delay and have them controlled by movement sensors and light sensitive switches.
We import 400 containers per year and most of these are delivered and collected during the night. Using PowerSave's Energy Saver Floodlights externally gave us the ability to fully light our yard automatically with sensors when trucks arrived, making the movements safer and easier for the driver."

"Metal halides are sensitive to voltage fluctuations and tend to shut down when trawler crews engage winch motors to set and retrieve nets.
Crews are plunged into darkness while trying to work in rolling seas and have to wait for metal halides to cool and restrike. Power Save floodlights are not affected by power fluctuations and have performed well since fitted to the trawler fleet."

"We wanted to improve our workshop lighting and coincidentally came across Power Save Light Company when I was blinded by the lights from their stand at the 2006 EMEX Show.
We also had a problem in that the existing lighting circuit was at its load limit so we could not add more lights to increase the light level.

"Our 200 watt Highbay lights from Power Save Light have transformed a dullish assembly hall into a place usable by day or night for intricate machine assembly. At 5m up we get 600 lux, exceeding our >/=300 lux specification. The bright white and flicker-free light gives easy identification of electronic component colours, as well as easy observation of defects and smearing on stainless steel surfaces.
Priced similarly to traditional 400W Highbay HID units, their ease of hanging (only 2kg on one hook), efficiency and light quality has drawn favourable comment from both installers and users. Although light level sensor controls have not yet implemented by us, their instant restart capacity enables that option, in contrast to some older lighting technologies.
